Positive: Loved my stay! The team are really friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere at the hostel, really chilled and not a party hostel but plenty of opportunities to socialise. It’s basic but has everything you need. Close to shops, supermarket, nice town square and easy to take the collectivo to the beach. Bed was really comfy, bring a padlock for a locker by the bed. Activities pretty much every day from visiting a dog shelter to salsa dancing to drinks to film nights.

Negative: The kitchen could be better equipped with mugs and bowls as there were only a couple shared between us which made making cups of tea a bit tricky! The door to our dorm scraped on the floor making a noise which was annoying when you’re trying to sleep but hopefully they fix this soon. Bring your own soap and towels as otherwise you have to pay for them at the hostel (I’d have preferred if soap was provided to encourage hygiene as otherwise germs can spread easily if people don’t bother to pay for it)
