All winter hiking and ski touring routes start at the house or pass right by it. In summer, the Alpbach Loft is the ideal starting point for hikers, mountain bikers, or e-bike riders (bike rentals are within walking distance)—or simply for slowing down and unwinding. Both the balcony bathed in morning sun—perfect for breakfast—and the south-facing balcony, which offers an unobstructed view of the Sagtal mountain range from Inneralpbach, are perfect spots to unwind. You’ll find lovely and, above all, excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and the Alpbach Farm Museum is also worth a visit.
