I am an artist (gianne.org) and have lived in France for 35 years. Bormes les Mimosas is famous for the flowers, the entire village is cared for and people come from all over Europe to see this 4star historical village. This property is next door to me, and I will be there to greet you in August. I am looking for a serious couple or family to rent at a very low fee this wonderful place that belonged to my French mother for 3 to 12 months. It is fully equipped and everything works. I would like to share this ideal place for someone seeking a French provencal experience in a safe and comfortable environment. It is conducive to writing and resting and being in the special Provencal light. There are cafés and restaurants, shops and a museum and two churches in the classified village up the street, so you will never feel alone. Some of the nicest beaches in France are located about 4kms away. For bikers, this is ideal as there are many routes that have bike lanes. I have a storage area where you can stow your bikes. The village is on a small mountain, and there is beautiful and safe hiking all around the village. You can take a bus to St Tropez, Toulon, Hyeres, etc. From Hyeres train station, you can go anywhere in France. Taxis are also available. Just down the hill are all services; pharmacy, doctor, bakery, grocery, butcher, florist... I walk this all the time, not too difficult.
The house has two full bedrooms, (one bedroom has a double bed that can also be 2 twin beds). A sea view office on the ground floor with a fold out bed is perfect for writing. There is a "beach" shower on the ground floor, and a separate guest WC. The small balcony with a sea view has 2 double door access; one off the main room and the other off the kitchen. The balcony seats 4. Up the beautiful staircase are the 2 bedrooms, and a full bath with spa shower, second toilet. Central heating. Serious inquiries by responsible people only please.
