The villa is one of the original buildings in Vale do Lobo (recently refurbished, with new bathrooms, kitchen and bedroom floors for 2022) in an area called Tennis Valley, in a very quiet location but well situated and in walking distance of the beaches and restaurants and bars of the Praca and Praia do Garrao.
The villa occupies almost 1800 square feet, with a fabulous open plan split level lounge/dining area 30' long and 15' wide. The bedrooms are all doubles, with superking beds that can be made into twins - one on the ground floor with ensuite shower room and separate dressing area, and 2 bedrooms upstairs sharing a large bathroom with double basins. It has recently been redecorated and refurbished, and with new bathrooms. In addition it has 4 terraces, on the ground floor, mezzanine, ensuite terrace with the smaller upstairs bedroom, and roof terrace on the 2nd floor.
On the second floor is the roof terrace which is c200' square with a range of sunloungers and sunbeds, this is THE place to get a really good tan in the sun (apart from the beach!), and with wonderful views day and night. A great place also to relax in the evening with a glass of wine and watch the sunset!
The Tennis Academy is a short (3 min) walk from the villa and has a restaurant/snack bar for light refreshments. Guests can use the pool and gym for €10 per person per day and this will also include discounts on court fees and tennis lessons. There is a weekly and monthly membership fee for those wishing to play tennis regularly. Alternatively Resort Cards can be purchased for €60 per person per week and this includes FREE use of the pool and gym at the Tennis Academy, free use of the resort bus (not accessible without the card) and discounts to many local restaurants. Also villa guests can enjoy 50% discount on green fees at the 3 main golf courses in the area.
Designer furnishings and décor, very well equipped with Lazer TV, DVD, wifi, giant bluetooth speaker and above average kitchen equipment inc juicer, blender, health grill. Washer/dryer in the separate utility area. Sleeps up to 6. 20 mins walk in either direction to superb beaches and restaurants. The pool is not on site - 3 min walk to the tennis centre. Guests have free use of pool, gym, and discounted tennis.
GETTING AROUND/UBERS
If you do not hire a car it is still very easy to get around as the Praca and its beaches are a c20 min walk, Vale do Garroa with its restaurants and beaches are a c25 min walk. If you do not hire a car or buy a resort card for use of the free resort bus (only available with the card) Ubers are VERY frequent and VERY cheap - about a third of the price in the UK. They normally arrive within 2-3 mins of requesting them via the app on your phone!
