Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is a stunningly beautiful property with warm and welcoming staff. The room was clean, comfortable and well done. The breakfast was delicious and elegant. The location was ideal for surfing and the board/shower area in the basement was a huge plus.

Negative: Honestly, when I left the property I was in awe at how “perfect” everything was. I worked many years at a 5 star luxury resort and felt staying at Silver Coast exceeded every expectation. Shortly after checking out I received an email stating that I had damaged the curtains and would be charged for them. I informed them I had not damaged the curtains but the staff was adamant that I had and sent several unfriendly emails. Ironically, I had taken photographs of the beautiful room upon checking in (in which you can see the hole in the curtain) and submitted them to the owner. Had I received an apology for the accusation, I would’ve given a perfect review- but this situation prevents me from recommending others to stay here.
