Summary: We had a wonderful 5 nights. Our little house could have easily slept 6. It was typically rustic country living and had all the amenities that we needed. We even had a covered parking area for our car to keep it cool. The pool was set in a lovely little garden with loungers and it was our personal haven especially as we hit the heat wave and most days it was in the 40's. The pool was our go to place when we arrived back from our daily jaunts. We were a 15 minute drive from a large Lidl store which had all the food items we needed and more. We drove into Tavira, a short 15 minute drive, each night to enjoy the many restaurants that lined the river. Really recommend you visit there. It is touristy but has a lovely vibe about it. We could have ventured further each night but we were happy to always return and find another great eating place. Each night on our drive home we could see many tiny owls perched on fence posts. If you want away from it all rustic Portugal, this is for you.
