Positive: We stayed at Villa Monte d’Avó with a group of friends and had an amazing experience. Despite the relatively low rating on Booking, the villa truly exceeded our expectations in many ways. The space is beautiful, spacious, and well equipped for a comfortable group stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas, which were perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay — they clearly care about their guests and are doing their best to offer a great experience. One point we feel is worth mentioning is the cleanliness of the pool and some of the general areas, which could use a bit more attention. That said, this did not take away from our overall experience at all. In fact, the warmth of the welcome and the charm of the property more than made up for it. If you're considering booking, don't be discouraged by the current rating — we were pleasantly surprised and would absolutely recommend this villa to others. We would definitely come back!
