The development of Varandas do Lago is set in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, neighbouring Club do Ancão and Vale do Garrão. Surrounded by beautiful pine forests, the development is within easy reach of the famous Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo resorts and close to some of the best Algarve golden beaches.

126 Varandas Do Lago is a well presented, spacious villa with home comforts to be found throughout the property, including a table tennis table in the lower grounds floor. There is air conditioning throughout - phew!
For those of you who fancy some home cooking while you're away, the kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a built in microwave, gas hob and electric over, American style fridge freezer and most importantly a dishwasher!
The dining room has a table to seat eight, we recommend the chef gets to sit at the head of the table in reverence. Should you fancy, you can open the patio doors and enjoy the view of the pool and garden while you eat.
If you feel like getting out of the midday sun, you can relax in the living room; flicking through the Cable TV on plasma telly, there are two large leather sofas and a DVD player - don't forget to bring your own DVDs though!
There are four bedrooms, two on the first floor and two on the ground floor, there are three doubles and a twin, and as important as the dishwasher - all of the bedrooms have ensuites.
- The master bedroom boasts its own dressing area, a large bathroom with a bath and large corner shower. And, as its the master, it has patio doors leading out onto a large private terrace with seating.
- The twin bedded room is also on the first floor, while the ensuite may only be a shower room, this is compensated for because this bedroom also has it's own private terrace too!
- Downstairs there are two further double bedrooms, both owth ensuite shower rooms - but no more private terraces we're afraid. However, in the morning these guests will be closer to the pool to bag the best sun lounger positions!
The grounds.
Outside the lawn and gardens are both enclosed and private and there are enough sunloungers for everyone. As no holiday is complete without the obligatory barbie, there is a built in barbecue. There is of course a table and enough chairs for everyone to sit down, enjoy the al fresco experience (and perhaps offer pointers to the barbie chef?), and afterwards relax in the comfy seating area. Should you wish, the 5m x 10m pool can also be heated, at an additional charge. The pool area also comes with an outside pool shower, should you feel inclined.
