Summary: Do not stay at this property in January if you want to use the main pool with the lazy river and slides. They close for annual maintenance. We were not aware and very disappointed. Hotels.com claims it was posted. It is now, but it was not when we booked. It's a hefty resort fee when the main attraction is closed. The resort itself is decent. It's not well lit and it can be scary walking around in the dark. There were lights everywhere, they just were not on. The room appeared clean except for the floors. Within a minute of walking around our socks were black. I can't imagine how long it was since they were properly cleaned. We had to buy cleaning supplies and clean ourselves. Finally, you may not be able to adjust the temperature without the front desk. Ours required a special code. Seems ridiculous.
