THIS BEAUTIFUL VILLA commands an enviable location with stunning views over the Ocean. Exuding charm with space to relax and breathe. Traditional features, contemporary facilities and a large garden, combine to offer luxury spacious accommodation in the serenity of this peaceful village.
THE PRIVATE HEATED POOL is the prime feature of the Villa, measuring 6 metres by 3 metres, with depth from 1.2 metres to 1.5 metres. Heated all year and included in the Tariff. The Villa faces south, guaranteeing sun on the Pool from 10am until Sunset. Likewise, all rooms within the property enjoy the same South facing elevation and magnificent Ocean views.
THE TOP FLOOR has the Lounge, Dining area and Kitchen in an Open Plan arrangement. With a sun drenched Balcony the full length of the Villa.
THE KITCHEN is fully fitted with all appliances including an Espresso machine and a generous variety of kitchen utensils. The Lounge has space to relax with Ocean views. Facilities include a 50" TV and DVD player. Internet speed of Mpbs 1000/400. And a large Dining Table.
THE FIRST FLOOR offers the Master Bedroom with King size bed and a spacious ensuite shower room with Power shower & opening window.
A second large double bedroom with King size bed, has another large shower room immediately adjacent, with the same facilities.
THE GROUND FLOOR offers two more Bedrooms.
Bedroom 3 has a King size bed, and Bedroom 4 has a robustly constructed Bunk Bed.
There is an additional shower room, with a separate toilet on this floor.
Please note these are accessed by going through Bedroom 4.
ALL BEDS are Custom made to our personal design by local Craftsmen, and fitted with quality mattresses to guarantee a good night's sleep.
Hotel grade linen and Towels are also provided, Bedroom 1 & 2 have large fitted wardrobes so that you may enjoy your holiday clutter free. Bedroom 3 & 4 have open plan arrangements. The USB ports next to each bed allow convenience for everybody's gadgets.
AIR CONDITIONING systems serve every room, offering Heat or Cooling to suit the season, using efficient Eco Air Heat Pump technology.
HOT WATER is provided by an Eco Tank, again using the latest Air Heat Pump technology. Most electric is provided by the Islands Wind farms located on the plateau.
ALL BEDROOMDS are fitted with shutters to allow traditional control of sun, heat and airflow.
THE POOL TERRACE and GARDENS will be a delight for our Guests, and offer substantial additional facilities. Sunbeds allow our Guests to enjoy year round sunshine and to relax underneath Mature Californian Palms and other tropical trees. Average daytime temperatures from 20c to 35c.
THE BBQ TERRACE has a large Granite table for Al fresco dining underneath a Pergola with shade. This delightful Terrace commands a wide panorama overlooking the Ocean.
GARDENS surround the Pool Terrace with staircases between different levels. PARKING is provided at the side of the Villa, for one car behind a Security gate. Additional spaces are available in the quiet road outside the Villa. The whole property is surrounded by garden walls and gates offering peace of mind, that children cannot wander accidentally into the road.
CALHETA is the prime Tourist area of Madeira and is on the less developed, popular, Western side of the island. It consists of a group of villages. Located on the quieter side, Faja da Ovelha offers a peaceful location. The Via Rapide is the modern wide road, connecting most parts of the Island. It is accessed only 5 minutes away and provides a quick and safe route to Calheta Marina or other parts of the Island.
