Summary: The estate itself is gorgeous with an awesome main lodging house plus two separate places for more privacy, and a great pool! It was unfortunate that the amenities were lacking: flickering lights, a broken shower head, ants in all the rooms, not enough toilet paper, and some of the bedding needed cleaning. The main house also had a sour smell. Perhaps this is due to a transition in ownership. We found out the property was taken over on the day we arrived. Thankfully, Damien, a maintenance worker was there to guide us about keys, gates, etc. He was awesome! So was Diana, who helped us out on the first day. Since we were only staying four nights, we didn’t want to keep calling for things to be done, as it would have interfered with our trip. The pool was a lifesaver! An estate of this size and beauty should have amenities that meet higher standards.
