Most of the sights are within walking distance, the touristic part of Bairro Alto quarter with it's beautiful Fado houses and nightlife, the Chiado square and the Rossio square. In the friendly neighbourhood you just have old portuguese grocery stores, a supermarket, small cafes and traditional portuguese restaurants.
